Hi, I'm Gerald Muriuki.

I was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Since then I've had the opportunity to travel to a number of places, each of which has shaped my perspective on both life and work.

I'm currently working at Letaji, based in Nairobi. Prior to this, I was at Vibes Vibes, primarily contributing to building Send Time Optimization Model (STO) and Send Message Optimization models (NLP and LLM).

I have a blog, where I talk to myself about tech, economics, architecture, history, psychology, notes on books I've read, and links to articles on stuff I find interesting enough to share.

Today I Learned (TIL) is a collection of concise write-ups on small things I learn day to day across a variety of technologies. These are things that don't really warrant a full blog post.
